Welcome to My Studio & My Story

Welcome — truly — to my world.

I’m so glad you’re here, whether you found this blog through my art, social media, or simply curiosity. This space is where I share not just my paintings, but the life and meaning behind them — the quiet moments, the courage it takes to begin again, and the evolving journey of building a creative life.

Returning to What I’ve Always Loved

I’m a mother of three, living and creating from my home in Dubai. But art has been part of me for as long as I can remember. As a child, I would sit for hours drawing — completely absorbed, losing track of time in the simplest way.

Somewhere around the age of fifteen, I stopped painting. I chose to study economics, which felt like a more reliable and practical path at the time. Life moved forward, as it does. The years passed, filled with work, responsibility, and routine — yet I kept finding myself in galleries and art exhibitions, quietly dreaming of picking up my brushes again. There never seemed to be enough time.

When I became a mother, I felt deeply fulfilled — and at the same time, a little disconnected from who I was beyond that role. Returning to painting didn’t feel like starting something new. It felt like coming back to myself.

From a Bedroom Corner to a First Sale

I began painting again in a small corner of our bedroom. It wasn’t planned or polished — just an honest need to create. Between naps, early mornings, and late nights, I painted because it grounded me.

When I sold my first painting to a stranger through social media, something shifted. That single moment made the possibility feel real — that art could be more than personal, that it could become a living, breathing part of my life and work.

A Studio Built on Belief

Over time, I saved and eventually renovated our garage, transforming it into the studio I work in today. A bright, open space filled with light, canvas, and room to move freely. Having this space has changed my relationship with my work.

Lately, I’ve been drawn to large-scale paintings — allowing my body, intuition, and curiosity to guide the process. This studio has given me the freedom to experiment, to take risks, and to explore new techniques with confidence and intention.

Looking Ahead

This year feels like a beginning — open, expansive, and full of possibility.

Through this blog, I’ll be sharing more of my process, my reflections, and the behind-the-scenes of building an art business rooted in meaning and honesty. Whether you’re here to collect, to be inspired, or simply to pause for a moment, I’m grateful you’ve found your way here.

Thank you for being part of this journey. I can’t wait to see where it leads.
